Holding Space for the Caregivers
Hi, I’m Maggie, a Care Consultant. I support overwhelmed caregivers as they care for their loved ones.

THE RAW TRUTH
In our African Culture, we care for our own.
We do it with love and respect. It’s just what we do. But there is something we don’t talk about, and the silence is hurting the caregivers.
Caregivers are expected to be strong all the time. Even when they are tired. Even when they feel alone. Wanting a break is judged as abandonment. Asking for help is seen as a weakness.
But who cares for the caregiver?
This space is for you, the one who is tired of being strong. The one carrying everything alone. The one caring for a child with a disability, a parent with dementia, or a loved one with mental health problems, while also carrying the weight of cultural stigma.
You deserve support, too.
As a nurse and a parent, I understand this journey, and I want you to remember that your mental health and well-being matter too.
I also started Bold Daughters as a safe place for caregivers who are facing challenges of having a child with disability, and or other caregivers. A space to belong and the assurance that they are not alone.

In our private session, we work through what comes next after diagnosis and how to get your child the right support as early as possible. You leave knowing exactly what to do next, feeling less overwhelmed, and with a guide.

Speaking Engagements
I offer keynotes for parent support groups, in the motherland and the diaspora. I speak on Autism and Developmental disabilities, cultural stigma, early intervention, how to help children beyond the labels, and the journey to finding a new normal.

Choose Faith over Fear
When my pregnancy report came back with news I was not ready for, I had to make a choice.
This book is about the choice to choose faith over fear against all odds.
If you are a parent sitting with a diagnosis that changed everything, carrying grief you did not ask for, or facing uncertainty you cannot see past, I wrote this for you.

My sessions with Maggie were more than just guidance. It felt like waking up to something deeper inside me. She made room for honest reflection and growth, and in that space, I found clarity I didn’t even know I needed. Her wisdom, patience, and thoughtful approach to coaching are truly rare.

Thank you for creating a safe space where we can talk openly about disability, especially in African culture, where we were taught to stay silent. For shedding light on disability issues that many families struggle with silently.
And for openly calling out toxic cultural beliefs that give power to stigma.

I don’t know where to begin. I met Maggie when I really needed someone who understood. She gave me a place to talk without judgment or shame. After my child’s disability diagnosis, many people left my life, but meeting Maggie felt like a sign that God still cared for me. Thank you for always listening to me.
